A Place in the Clouds....

So I just realized that I never explained the title of my blog in my first post like I'd meant to. When I first started thinking about creating a blog I began racking my brain trying to come up with a creative and fun name. I even turned to Facebook for suggestions. I got some good ones, but I wanted something less obvious, and something more meaningful. I turned on my itunes to come up with some inspiration. As I was listening to some of my favorite songs, I remembered playing something in the car as I drove out to California that seemed perfect. It was Dixie Chicks, Wide Open Spaces.... 


Here's the inspiration for my blog and the words that seemed to really hit home...

Who doesn't know what I'm talking about

Who's never left home, who's never struck out

To find a dream and a life of their own

A place in the clouds, a foundation of stone

Many precede and many will follow 

A young girls dream's no longer hollow

It takes the shape of a place out West

But what it holds for her she hasn't guessed yet

She needs wide open spaces

Room to make her big mistakes

She needs new faces

She knows the high stakes
